Research Assistant and Research Associates in Tissue Engineering / Biomedical Engineering

Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant or Research Associate in the School of Biological Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, to commence as soon as possible.

Applicants should be pursuing or possess a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field (Research Assistant) or possess a relevant Master’s or PhD degree in biomedical engineering or a related field (Research Associate). Prior academic background in tissue engineering, biomaterials, microfabrication and micropatterning and mechanoregulation will be an advantage. Candidates should have passion in research, good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, and a good command of English.

The appointee is expected to work in multi-disciplinary environment with team members on research projects related to musculoskeletal tissue engineering, advanced therapeutics for cartilage injuries and osteoarthritis, biomimetic and functional biomaterials, in vitro organoid and tumoroid models, or microfabrication and micropatterning.
