Jeffrey’s main research interests include in vitro and animal studies of complex osteochondral tissue engineering for osteoarthritis using infrapatellar fat pad or bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells. He’s also involved in cell niche engineering for human chondrocytes, exploring potential biomimetic features for chondrocyte phenotype maintenance. He enjoys a variety of hobbies outside the lab as a sports fanatic, a photography enthusiast, an avid drummer, an audiophile/musicophile and a custom keyboard aficionado.
